BIOGENA Coenzyme Q10
What is Coenzyme Q10
Coenzyme Q10 (coenzyme Q10, ubiquinone) is a fat-soluble substance. It is 95% associated with the production of cellular energy (ATP), which is necessary for the functioning of the heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, spleen, adrenal glands, and pancreas. ATP is the main "fuel" for cells, and coenzyme Q10 is its supplier.
The coenzyme is synthesized in the body independently, but also comes with food from 5 to 10 mg of ubiquinone daily. With age, the rate of synthesis of the coenzyme decreases (illness, unbalanced diet, increased loads, stress) and it is better to understand what the reason is. Physiologically correct level of Q10 is critically important for maintaining a high quality of life and feeling healthy.
What products contain it?
Coenzyme is found in animal products, vegetable oils, as well as vegetables and legumes (but in small quantities).
Q10 contains:
Beef and pork heart;
Liver;
Fatty sea fish (salmon, trout, sardines, mackerel);
Vegetable oils (soybean, rapeseed, olive);
Vegetables, soybeans, walnuts, almonds.
Symptoms of Coenzyme Deficiency
With a deficiency of Q10 the following develops:
- Increased fatigue, chronic fatigue syndrome
- Muscle weakness, muscle pain
- Heart problems
- Symptoms Associated with Alzheimer's/Parkinson's Disease
- Mitochondrial dysfunction (laboratory findings)
- Decreased performance
Physically, with a coenzyme deficiency, a pathological lack of energy is felt. One of the manifestations is the lack of strength to do anything at all. There may not be enough strength for the simplest things, not to mention working effectively, actively playing sports, and resisting stress.
